NON-SURGICAL TREATMENTS

Botox

BOTOX is a muscle relaxant that is injected into the muscles. It works by partially blocking the nerve impulses to any muscles that have been injected and reduces excessive contractions of these muscles.

In adults, BOTOX is used to control the persistent muscle activity in the forehead which causes lines and wrinkles, thus reducing forehead lines and frown lines. It is also effective in reducing and preventing “crows feet”, the fine wrinkles adjacent to the eyes. Optimal use is early in the development of these, to prevent permanent lines and wrinkles.

It can also be used for certain types of Strabismus, a condition where the two eyes are not aligned properly with each other, as well as for uncontrollable blinking (Blepharospasm) and excessive sweating.

Fillers

As we age, wrinkles appear on our faces.  Fillers are designed to help smooth wrinkles away by adding volume under the skin where it is needed most.

Fillers can also be used to restore volume to sunken cheeks. They are particularly effective for reducing nasolabial folds, those deep furrows which extend from the nose to the edges of the lips. They can also be effective in reducing the appearance of “bags” under the eyes, if you prefer to not undergo surgery for these.

Each filler product is specifically formulated to boost volume in a targeted layer of skin to give maximum effect. The Fillers are used to provide non-surgical cosmetic enhancements, to help you reach your full potential.

Fractional Laser

Fractional Laser is used for skin resurfacing. The treatments are flexible, well tolerated and used for several skin conditions. The different options can improve fine lines and wrinkles, improve challenging scars and help correct a wide variety of skin imperfections.

Fractional skin resurfacing with Palomar uses laser energy microbeams, to create areas of affected tissue that extend through the epidermis into the dermis. The body’s natural healing process creates new, healthy tissue to replace the areas of affected tissue, resulting in healthier, younger looking skin.

The effect is improved tone and texture of the skin. It is also effective in reducing pigmentation of the skin, and can improve stretch marks.
